It is time to practice our faith by helping those in need.  “For just as a body without a spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead.”  James 2:26

Our nation is experiencing drug addiction at epidemic levels and Kentucky has been ranked #3 for drug related deaths in 2015.   We may be tempted to turn a blind eye and think how these people “made their bed” so to speak.  What’s missing is our ability to view the situation through God’s eyes.  Only God truly knows why people do what they do and yet he continues to love them and call them his very own.  We can do no less.

Carmel Ministries is establishing a comprehensive healing & growth program for those exiting a formal addiction center.  This program will incorporate spiritual strategies for healing while providing for the long term teaching of key life skills and productive living.  This will include a mentoring program for long term support.  Will you join us in supporting this program?
